Hello world! I am hoping this will serve as a way to clarify thoughts on what I want to do with my life. PhD in hand, a masters in a different subfield and a couple of years experience in industry. Do I enjoy research, or do I just enjoy the idea? Am I generalizing a shitty adviser experience? Would I be happy back in the same industry? Would I be happy in academia? Is there a third option? I am hoping if I write some of these answers down, I might figure it out.
